Say it On Saturday

NEXT SAY IT ON SATURDAY: MAY 31ST.
What is Say it On Saturday (SIOS)?
Say it On Saturday is a way to entice the Write Stuff readers to get more involved with the writing blog they love the most.
Say it On Saturday will be available every last Saturday of the month. I’ll write a sticky note letting visitors know what’s going on, along with a few suggestions for potential guest writers, but the rest of the day is entirely devoted to YOU. What’s on your mind? Tell us about your latest writing project. Tell us about your favorite author. Or tell us what you’re going to do that weekend. Anything goes. It doesn’t have to be writing related - talk about anything.
We talk all week long, now it’s YOUR turn to say what’s on your mind. Here is how Say it On Saturday works:
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Go to http://www.take2max.com/writing/wp-login.php
2. Type in the username/password given (which will appear on the sticky note posted at midnight of the last Saturday of the month) **PLEASE NOTE: The username and password ARE case sensitive. So, if the username and password have any capital letters in them, you’ll need to type those capital letters when signing on exactly as shown.
(Password will be disabled at 9:00 p.m. central time. A new password will be supplied each month).
3. Click on “Write”
4. Insert your Title
5. Write your entry
6. Do not change the category, please. All entries are set to publish in the Say it On Saturday category by default. Any entries that are changed to a different category will be changed back to the Say it On Saturday category.
7. Include your blog information so people can find you.
8. Click publish.

RULES:
1. Please keep your entries around 500 words. If you write a novellea, that won’t leave much room for other writers’ entries.
2. Please do not post more than two times per Saturday.
3. Please keep it clean … this is a PG-rated blog.
4. PLEASE feel free to link your blog … just make sure you say who you are. (sign your post)
5. The Write Stuff admin (Karen) reserves the right to edit/delete inappropriate posts. This is a writing blog after all. Gross misuse of grammar and/or spelling entries will either be edited, or deleted.
6. Please do not mess with the Guest profile. If you change the password, then others will not be able to gain access and publish their posts.
7. Any writer who abuses this program will be black listed - this means your IP will be banned and any comments you try to post from that point on will automatically be deleted. Writer’s who abuse this program will no longer be eligible to participate in future SIOS’.
Above all, HAVE FUN!!
Please contact Karen at [writestuffwriters at yahoo dot com], or use this contact form, if you have questions.
