Attention poets! This contest is just for you. Read on …
The next poetry contest begins: TBA at midnight, central time

Here’s what you do:

1. Write a poem based on the current theme. THEME: TBA

2. The competition is open to all types of poetry and for poets of all skill levels, 32 lines maximum.

3. The competition is open to residents from all countries.

4. Post your poem to your blog.

5. Only one poem per person, please.

6. Leave the direct link to your entry in the Mr. Linky box which will appear in a sticky post on the Write Stuff home page.

7. Deadline to enter is: __________, 5:00 p.m. central time.

8. Voting will begin shortly after deadline. (A poll will either appear in the contest post, or a link will be provided).

9. Voting ends _________, 5:00 p.m. central time . (Which gives you plenty of time to urge your readers to vote for your entry!!)

10. Bloggers/readers/writers are judges.

11. Winner will be announced shortly after __________, 5:00 p.m. central time.

12. Winner receives a $20.00 gift certificate to Amazon.com as well as have his/her poem published on Write Stuff __________. Winner also has the option of posting the below button to his/her website or blog (this is not a requirement).

Please note: This is a poetry contest which means poems are expected to be error-free, gramatically correct, thought-provoking, compelling and some of your best work. Our readership is steadily increasing which means you never really know who’s reading your work - please keep it professional.
