Guest Writers
Thank you for your interest in participating at Write Stuff!
Guest writers do not have a regular schedule, per se, but rather fill in for regular writers in the event he/she cannot post on his/her regularly scheduled days or at the discretion of the administrator. (For example: The administrator may invite the guest writer to submit his/her article on Saturday in lieu of writing resources and/or possibly submit an article on the same day as a regular writer provided the regular writer is in agreement).
Regular writers have the option of “giving up” their regularly scheduled day (for various reasons: sick, need time off, out of town, on vacation, etc.) at which time a guest writer is invited to post on that specific day.
In the event that a regular writer wishes to drop out of the weekly rotation, the administrator will look at the guest writers first and invite him/her to become a weekly writer. If none of the guest writers wish to take on the responsibility of writing on a weekly basis, then the slot becomes available to the public. (Weekly writer positions are via invitations only. However, the more you participate and become involved in Write Stuff, the better your chances of being invited are).
Though Write Stuff is a blog about writing in general and articles submitted by authors must be writing-related in some way, this does not mean that writers are restricted to just giving advice, tips or otherwise. Writers are welcomed to share their personal writing experiences, their frustrations, their triumphs or their thoughts in general. This blog is intended to provide inspiration, ideas, and fellowship with all writers, regardless of genre.
Please note that by participating in Write Stuff you’re under no obligation whatsoever. If, at any time, the responsibility of contributing to Write Stuff becomes overwhelming then by all means, feel free to quit - no hard feelings. This blog is intended to be fun and enjoyable and if it ceases to become either of those things, at any time, then the writer is under no obligation to continue. The administrator is very easy to get along with. *smile*
If you’re a writer, we would LOVE to hear from you! Please register to be a guest writer. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Karen the Write Stuff admin. Guest writers will be issued a username and password and will have the ability to write and save their articles but will not be able to publish them. Publication will be activated by the administrator when it’s time for the guest writer’s article to appear.
*Please note: If the administrator deems the draft submitted unsuitable for publication on Write Stuff, the writer will be notified. The administrator’s decision is final.
